For the third year in a row, The North Face is proud to partner with Whistler Blackcomb and celebrate the return of winter.
Come experience all that winter has to offer on December 1st and 2nd with the ultimate camping experience at the top of Whistler Mountain.
Two days of activities, giveaways and good times. Here’s a look at the schedule of events…
The North Face Base Camp Celebration in Skier’s Plaza
Saturday, December 1st & Sunday, December 2nd – 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Visit The North Face Base Camp to celebrate the kickoff of winter at the base of Whistler in the Skier’s Plaza. The event is free and welcome to all! Hang out and enjoy: The North Face product demos, live music, giveaways, games and donuts, coffee and hot chocolate around fire pits to warm up with your friends.
The Lucky Ride Up Contest
Saturday, December 1st – 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ride the lucky chair or gondola and you will automatically be entered to win The North Face gift certificates. Participating lifts include: Big Red Express, Emerald Express, Excalibur Gondola, Creekside Gondola, Blackcomb Gondola and Whistler Village Gondola (subject to change according to lift operation schedule).
Campout Contest
Saturday, December 1st – Starting at 6:30 p.m.
The North Face is offering a unique chance to be a part of a thrilling winter camping experience on top of Whistler Mountain. You and one friend could win an opportunity to camp overnight at 1850 metres for guaranteed first tracks without the lift lines. If you’re a lucky winner, not only will you get to claim first tracks, but you and your friend will get to keep the entire North Face camping kit!
