MARK MCMORRIS | BROKEN

Two weeks after winning the Burton US Open, Mark was in a backcountry accident outside of Whistler. On Saturday, March 25th, he fractured 17 bones including his arm, jaw, and pelvis, he ruptured his spleen, bruised his heart, and collapsed his left lung.

He was airlifted from the scene to Vancouver General Hospital where he was put into an induced coma and underwent two emergency surgeries. The first stopped the bleeding from his spleen. The second stabilized his broken arm and jaw. This is his story...
