Red Bull Heavy Metal 2024 | Recap Video + Gallery

Egan Wint and Luke Winkelmann topped the lot at Red Bull Heavy Metal in downtown St. Paul at the Minnesota State Capitol Building. A whirlwind showdown with 32 boarders in the mix, the iconic event showed progressive riding across three different zones. Mayor Melvin Carter claimed it was Red Bull Heavy Metal Day, while Winkelmann and Wint emerged as champs, impressing in each zone. Egan Wint, the 2023 Detroit Heavy Metal winner, showed up for the crowd in Zone 1. Meanwhile, Winkelmann's versatility came through with a barrage of creative tricks throughout the day. Iris Pham and Joey Fava beat up on the down-flat-down rail in Zone 3. Pham's proper boardslide and Fava's backside lipslide's were standout tricks. The event, directed by Joe Sexton, marked its third year since its revival in 2022, legendary pros and emcee royalty Todd Richards and Chris Grenier hosted the event. Red Bull Heavy Metal continues to impress.
