LOS ANGELES, CA – January 31, 2013 –  Eddie Wall, Kyle Clancy, Steve Klassen and a slew of industry insiders put their skills and pride on the line to benefit SOS Outreach - a youth development nonprofit that builds character and self-esteem in underserved youth through programs that offer an outdoor adventure, during the 2nd annual 686 Lights Out, presented by Electric on Thursday Night.

The three round bouts were preceded by a proper weigh in hosted by Grenade's own Danny Kass and Dingo at the 686 booth at SIA tradeshow. Professional snowboarder vs. professional snowboarder, Media vs. Media, Canada vs. Canada, artist vs. blogger and others all stepped up to check their weight and size up their competition before igniting the crowd into a frenzy later that the eve.

The night kicked off with Dingo as MC talking the crowd through the eve, Danny Kass as referee keeping things somewhat clean in the ring, and DJ Largechild and the 686 ring girls moving the crowd between rounds. The crowd's energy escalated with each round and bout as competitors brought the heat in the ring. Massive applause and chants from the crowd lead up to the main event between professional shreds Eddie Wall and Kyle Clancy. As the two boxed three epic rounds of skilled sparring, with multiple landed shots, Eddie Wall was named the victor and claimed the coveted 686 Lights Out belt.

Highlights from the night included JSLV's James Haunt stopping Angry Snowboarder Avren Lieber in just two rounds, Alex Lessard from King Snow taking down a bloody, but lion-hearted Matt Aiken from SBC (note: only the Canadian media stepped up in the ring), a guest appearance by a freestyle rapping Shawn Farmer and Wave Rave founder Steve Klassen edging out Ion Camera's Braly Joy in a heated match that ended in a controversial tie and eventually went to a crowd decision.

If you missed the second annual 686 Lights Out presented by Electric, well, then you probably missed the biggest event of the SIA tradeshow – but you can check the highlights here. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for updates leading up to 686 Lights Out ISPO in just a few short days as well as 686 Lights Out 3 coming SIA 2014.
